I didn't know the piece of history that explains more about the background of Simon, Andrew, James and John. That tiny historical fact really changed the whole story for me.

Reading the Bible is a pain sometimes. Yeah, I said it. It is. The language is often hard to understand and (for me) some of the "little" stories don't seem to be that big of a deal. But, it's stories like these that remind me...you can't just read the Bible. You have to study it. And when you do, it can be really fascinating.

  1. That's cool, I didn't know that either. About the fishermen being rabbinical rejects, I mean. I knew the part about where you should study the Bible.
